Kimberly has been an occupational therapist since 2012, earning both her Master’s and Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She founded The New Years to give families the integrated, compassionate care she wished she had.

No. You do not need a referral to access our services. However, some insurance companies do require a referral for services to be covered, so check with your insurance provider if they require a doctor’s referral.

Occupational therapy, feeding therapy, tongue-tie and oral restrictions care, lactation support, developmental milestones support, naturopathic functional medicine, and parent consultations, all under one roof.
We care for the beginning: the full, formative years of childhood, from infants and toddlers through preschool-aged children, and we support parents and families too.
We do not direct bill to insurance providers and we do not take your insurance information. After your appointment we provide an itemized receipt with everything you need to submit your claim for reimbursement.
Several Ontario programs may be available, including the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), Special Services at Home (SSAH), Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD), the Infant and Child Development Program (ICDP), and Jordan’s Principle for First Nations children.
