Cancellation & Late Policy
We understand that schedules can change, and we do our best to be flexible while respecting the time of our clinicians and families. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
Notice and fees
- More than 48 hours’ noticeNo charge.
- 24 to 48 hours’ notice50% of the session fee.
- Less than 24 hours’ noticeFull session fee.
- No-shows (missed without notice)Full session fee.
Repeated short-notice cancellations may affect future booking privileges. This policy allows us to maintain consistent care for all families and offer openings to those on our waitlist. If you book an appointment within 48 hours of its scheduled start time, our cancellation policy still applies. Missed appointment fees cannot be claimed through extended health benefits.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply. We will always do our best to make the remainder of your appointment meaningful and supportive; however, extended time cannot be guaranteed, as this impacts the care of families booked after you. If you anticipate being late, please call us as soon as possible.
Inclement weather
For inclement weather during the winter months, we follow the York Region District School Board updates regarding weather. We will waive our cancellation fee should schools be closed.
