Supervision & Siblings

Our clinic is intentionally designed as a therapeutic space outfitted with clinical equipment. To keep it safe and supportive for everyone:

Parent and caregiver presence

  • A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site for all appointments involving minors.
  • For most sessions, caregivers are encouraged to be actively present in the treatment room, unless the clinician recommends a period of caregiver absence to support therapeutic goals.
  • Clinicians will never assume responsibility for supervising a child outside of scheduled treatment.

Siblings

  • Siblings are welcome in the waiting room, but must remain under active supervision at all times.
  • For safety reasons, and for the therapeutic benefit of the client, siblings may not participate in therapy sessions unless invited by the clinician for a specific clinical purpose.
  • We recommend bringing quiet activities to help siblings remain comfortable and safe during appointments.
